Snowshoeing

In 2009, Tim and I decided that we would take up snowshoeing. We love it! This past weekend we went to Bowman Lake State Park (about 5 miles from my mom's house) to take advantage of the freshly fallen snow and not so bitter temperatures. Of course, we brought JoZ along with us! (Gotta love babywearing!). We trekked along the trails for nearly an hour before deciding to head in. I made sure Tim snapped a few shots of me wearing Josie with my gear on. It was definitely more challenging then I thought it would be to wear a baby WHILE snowshoeing. I'm clumsy enough as it is but put me in a pair of snowshoes AND strap a baby to me...I'm surprised I didn't face plant (Only one or two close calls). Hopefully we'll get a chance to go again this week!
