Mother's Day 2012

I had a great Mother's Day this year! We drove all over town hanging up posters for next week's Food Revolution Day, had a super fantastic lunch at Crema (one of our favorite lunch spots), AND ate way too many applesauce cupcakes from Willy St. Co-op's Bakery! When we got home this afternoon, we hung out in our backyard until dinner time...then ate homemade black bean burgers!! 

I was given a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some perfectly hilarious cards from my loves ! Lucky me! For my "gift" gift this year, I'm going to order a 16 x 20 canvas of one of the many beautiful Josie photos from this past month...but I can't choose which one I want! Here are some of the shots that I snapped today when we got home (yet even more choices now!)

Post Bath Photos

Josie was being so cute and silly after her bath tonight, that I just had to do an impromptu photo shoot! She was cranky all afternoon, so it was quite refreshing to have a silly little girl running around the house (in her defense, she does have a pretty nasty ammonia burn from her diapers; so I don't blame her for the crankiness). She's always been a little ham, but it's really starting to shine through when you take photos of her now. Hmm...I wonder where she gets that from (answer: both of us).

More Outdoor Fun!

Well, I think that the last of the cold weather is behind us! When we woke up, it was already in the 70's! I am so ready for late spring/early summer temperatures. It gives me extra motivation to spend a good portion of our days outside.
