Halloween

I know it's a bit late, but I wanted to have a post showcasing Josie's super cute Halloween costume. This year, she was a Monarch Butterfly. I am proud to say that I made her tutu, wings, and striped tights. I definitely got my merit badge in craftiness this October!

I think it took longer to find the materials I needed then it did to actually put everything together.

Time spent looking for electrical tape to hold wings together: about 2 hours
Time it took to make and paint the wings: about 30 minutes

In the end, all of the energy was definitely worth it! I plan on saving all the pieces for future costumes (or for dress up days).

(this one's my favorite)
